There are many components of fitness and strength training that make up the foundation of what makes up football strength and conditioning. These include core stability, functional flexibility, agility, power, and cardiovascular conditioning, to name a few. There are many additional components that are used in sports training that are designed to increase an athlete's ability to run faster, jump higher, throw farther, hit the ball harder, and react quicker. These football components such as speed and explosive power are considered to be one of the most important factors in being able to excel at your sport of choice.
